Hey guys I live in NY and I am interested in buying a Road Glide Ultra. I'm trading in a 07 Fatboy that has $6k left on the payments and I'm putting cash down. I was just trying to see how much ppl paid out the door for the Ultra and how are the interest rates and monthly payments? Hopefully I'm planning to get it at the end of the year possibly December. Any advice or help would be appreciated because I'm not good at haggling prices but I want to have a general idea.

 

I'm not sure which dealer you're gonna use coming from the bronx, but I just rolled a 2018 road glide special out of Empire HD in New Rochelle a few weeks ago for $25,700 OTD. I know it isnt an ultra, but the MSRP difference between the two is literally $100 for 2018. I think im at 3.99%. with my downpayment im under $300 a month.

Also, if you're planning on going to Empire I would suggest looking elsewhere. And you're gonna get a better deal on the 17s.

 

Yea i fot my Fatby from Angel at empire. The Hudson Valley one is offering $27000 otd.

This was at a dealer in North MS, can't tell you about financing I paid cash

I'd look at 2017s if your dealer has any, you may can get a bit of a break on the 2017 vs 2018. No changes other than color choices between the 17 and 18

 

Yeah Angel is cool. I bought two bikes from Marty (including this one). Great guy, and would send people to him all day if I could. My problem was with the sales manager Pete, and I won't deal with him again. I think I'll be going to Hudson Valley in the future. I was up there this weekend trying to get my brother onto a harley and I like it up there. I hear they are way more motivated to move bikes. I talked to the sales guy Andrey for bit... I like him.

I put 13K down so I didnt finance much.

 

YEa i met andret on saturday my wife and I test rode the 2017 road glide ultra. Its sticker price is at $27000. But if the 2018s cost less retail i rather get an 18 then. I dont know if i should haggle down that price for the 17.

 

what color? As far as I know there isnt any differences between the 17 and 18 ultras. I would have them run the numbers on both, and see what they look like. Unless there a color difference, theres no reason the 18s should cost less than a 17.

I would also get numbers from at least one different dealer.

The first number they come out with is never their best deal. They're expecting you to low ball them so dont be afraid to make an offer.... you can always go up but you cant ever go back down. Don't be afraid to walk if you dont like the deal.

The only issue i have is that i have currently an 07 fatboy i got from empire in 2014 from Angel. I still have $7k left on the payment.
