Dog pile becomes galactically huge. Mods take notice.

The arrival of 1 or 2 rational members who try to support the newbie and guide him through the learning process.

Newby instinctively goes for the jugular of rational members.

Rational members bail.

Dog pile now is like the Borg - it assimilates all who enter.

Did I mention diagrams?

This is awesome, simply awesome!
Well done!

There.

I was making a little joke because as RK4ME posted in #28 counter steering is not something one has time to think about "Push left, go left. Push right, go right" in an emergency situation, it is just something you do. It should come as natural, without the need to take class, as walking IMO.

This is the line if you want to go fast. This is the Proficient Motorcycling line if you want to see gravel, and opposing traffic. I enter even later on rural roads.

Enter early, things get squirrely. Enter late, better fate.

I only counter steer during the day. Because I ride a Road Glide. And EVERYONE knows you can't counter steer a RG at night cause the headlights won't point in the direction you need to go and then you'll be riding into the dark!!!!!!!!

PERIOD.

Some of his best work in that thread:

- "sad bitches make me thirsty"
- "Mike, serious question - do you like bikes?"

Funny the OP claims to have never seen a countersteering thread as he made at least one post in the MikerR1 epic (post #18).
