I wish I could find it! I googled every thing I could think of. The video Nevada posted was one of the ones I looked at thinking it was the one I was referring to!

NOPE!! Thought I had it. Same video already posted. Nevertheless, a dramatic representation.

Cool. Now do it with a dump truck, leg-humper.
DISCLAIMER:
I don't really think you're a leg-humper. I just threw that in there to fulfill the name calling requirement.

hmm, i havent seen a thread on this subject yet. Just wanted to post it hoping someone out there would pick up one of the books i mentioned and save their life. Its still amazing how many riders i get behind that dont understand the basics of taking a turn or counter steering. Go fast in the straights then slam on thier brakes right before a turn and go into the turn still braking, just to full throttle it on the straight again.

That's because you don't spend enough time here. Under 1000 posts in 11 years?? WTF. You out riding or something?

It's all good and some of us are just giving you some good natured **** because counter steering threads are right up there with oil threads. There isn't one out there on the interwebs that hasn't turned into a thunderdome. But you're actually off to a pretty good start on this one.

You missed a hum dinger of a one a few months back. I can still see that curve diagram when I close my eyes. I think it's permanently burned into my retinas.

Yes....the MikeR1 Countersteering thread. It had all the elements -

Newby initially asking for advice

Newby rejecting all advice given.

Newby telling everyone how it really works.

Epic dog pile on newby.

Snarky newby responses with diagrams to prove how it's done.

Dog pile becomes galactically huge. Mods take notice.

More diagrams.

The arrival of 1 or 2 rational members who try to support the newbie and guide him through the learning process.

Newby instinctively goes for the jugular of rational members.

Rational members bail.

Dog pile now is like the Borg - it assimilates all who enter.

Mods step up the game with sternly worded intervention - "knock it off guys or the thread is closed!"

Mods ignored by all because the goal is to get the thread closed.

Newby implodes and puts everyone on HDF on his ignore list, but continues to post his Google knowledge with, yes, more diagrams.

Yours truly inserts completely unrelated and totally stupid gifs to eat up bandwidth.

More Diagrams.

More gifs.

Did I mention diagrams?

Finally thread gets closed by Izzo who receives a record number of "Thanks".
