Everybody countersteers
Yup, IMHO everyone countersteers. Try this.
- stand with your feet at about the width they are on your bike.
- reach your arms and hands out, as if grabbing the bars
- bend at the waist...
- now act like you are making at hard right turn, by leaning hard to the right.
Aha!! Did you notice your right hand went forward, without forcing if too? You just countersteered without knowing it.
You can force a harder turn, and lean, by deliberately forcing a counter steering.
Don't believe me. Next time you are on a ride, make a turn by leaning your bike, and keeping the bars perfectly straight.
