Last post...moving on
After multiple frustrating attempts to engage with several H-D dealerships, I am giving up. Harleys are like the cool girls in school – you want one based on emotion, but know that it is a vacuous desire because there are much better and more reliable options. Rational thought says move on against emotion. I would like to acquire a new HD, but I just cannot justify the cost when other American, European, and Japanese manufacturers are putting out better quality bikes. H-D owns the emotion for sure and the desire is there, but I am going to jump on my scout and go roast a hog! Later folks…

Your first mistake was thinking anybody gives a F what you think. Once you get past that then you can move on.

if you go into the dealership with your **** together and looking to buy .you don't need to "engage" anyone. throw out your best offer and have the means to purchase.its not hard.you cant go in and expect these sale guys to drop trow without you doing your part.

Be warned. Once you decide you want a Harley, nothing else will fill that void. So you may as well bite the bullet and get what you want. That feeling of "I'll show them!" will only last for so long when you're riding something that's not what you wanted.
