Default I'm looking for cold weather gauntlet gloves for under 60 bucks

Does any one have the River Road cold weather gloves from JP Cycles or the lined gauntlet deerskin gloves . Are they warm and durable ?
Is there any others that you like a lot for under $ 60 bucks ?

My wife got mine from Amazon several years ago and have served the purpose but because it's been awhile, I'm sure of the exact cost but it wasn't over $60.

But, like most any cold weather gear, it only protects to a certain degree. I once wore them in 30° weather and after 20 miles, my fingers were freezing. So I got some heated liners. They made the biggest difference.

Like most anything else you usually get what you pay for. Heated gloves are the way to go.

If you have a store near you, head over to Cycle Gear.

If you really want to go cheap, buy the basic cold weather gauntlet glove but in one or two sizes larger than you normally would wear ($20 - $30 should do it). Go to Harbor Freight or similar place and buy disposable vinyl gloves (I call them procto gloves) to use as a liner. When it starts to get around 25°, I wear double procto gloves. To get the second glove over the first, you usually need a larger size. If it is colder, I'm taking the car.

I can't see buying heated gear given the limited use I'll get out of it before salt is used on the roads and it's winter storage time. I will admit that if you're in the parking lot suiting up, it does look weird.

I recently got a second set of the original Vetter Hippo Hands on eBay for $22.00. Those and a pair of medium weight gloves will keep your ands warm in just about any winters temps you’re likely to ride in. I’ve used them for many years.

You’ll want to get them soon though as the bids can get up in the $100.00+ range the further into winter it is. Just get on eBay and put “Vetter Hippo Hands in the search box.

I don't have a recommendation... but do you want to stay warm or protect your hands in a slide? I'm thinking at a $50 price point, you'll need to make that decision.

You didn't say "how cold". The word cold means different things to different people. Your location just says USA which could be Florida.

Below 40 degrees, the only motorcycle gloves that will keep your fingers warm on a not-short ride is heated gear.

If you don't want heated gear, then head on over to a big outdoor sportsman's place like Bass Pro Shops or the like, and get some snowmobile gloves, or ice fishing gloves, or ski gloves.

The only way regular motorcycle gloves will keep you warm at 35 degrees, assuming you're riding longer than 30 minutes, is if you burn dollar bills to warm your hands up after you get where you're going.
