Fox Creek Leather has excellent gauntlet gloves, lined and unlined. Made in USA. A little more than your 60.00 limit, but well worth it. I have the unlined deerskin and use glove liners when its colder. Watch for sales. www.foxcreekleather.com

Just do what i did, go to a place that sells welding supplies and get you a pair of welding gloves they work great for keeping the "warm" in and the wind out.

How did you decide on $60? For $75 you could buy Fox Creek Deluxe Lined Deerskin Gauntlets.
I bought them last year. They’re good down to 40degrees. Really comfortable, made in USA.

I decide on 60 bucks because sooner or later they get lost . And I hate losing hi end 100 dollar gloves.
I have two sons that just started riding and !

And those Foxs gloves do look good .

I wish I had all the money I wasted on cold weather gloves, before I got my electric ones.

Heavy, insulated gloves do help but they can only do so much to keep your hands warm.

I've had the National Cycle hand wind protectors on my last two bikes and they do help deflect wind, rain and debris away from my hands.
I bought my first pair of heated gloves several years ago and they make all the difference in the world.
I bought my CVo Ultra in Sept., '12 and with the heated grips turned on to a low heat position and my gloves set accordingly, my palms, fingers and the backs of my hands never get even cool!

If you decide to get into heated gear, I'd highly recommend a dual controller that allows you to set the temp in your gloves to one temp and your jacket and/or pants liner to a different temp.

The ultimate completion of heated gear is a heated (perhaps dual) seat!

I just use old, leather gauntlet gloves or old leather snowmobile gloves. I also keep a couple "hot hands" hand warmer packs in my saddlebag for me or friends.
