Default new rebuild sportster

I'm using an old set of TRW forged pistons + 0.040 --and need to know the correct clearance to wall ----1974 sportster 1000 --+.040

Stock bore should be 3.187.

I checked some old TRW books, only see pistons for the 900 but they don't show the spec for clearance on those. Sorry.

I don't know if it's relevant but the KB piston catalog shows .0025 for forged pistons in a cast iron air-cooled cylinder. Old TRW's may be a bit less consistent in their expansion than a new KB.
