how is the comfort on it? Can you do a full day on it?

The only seat I have to compare with was the stock seat and there is no comparison... With the stock seat, I was uncomfortable after 100 miles or so. With the Le Perra, I can go double that without even starting to feel uncomfortable.

I have the version without the backrest and have not had any issues.
They do make a version that includes the backrest - https://shop.revzilla.com/motorcycle...ring-2008-2017

Thanks. That looks like touring seat and not compatible. My local dealer I think has a demo of the TallBoy so I will be able to try it out. For me I am more about function than looks (probably in the minority in that regard), but space and comfort are most important to me at my size.

I put a police saddle from a touring bike on my Street Bob. Plenty comfortable for my 34" inseam, whether i have my feet on the back of the boards or stretched out. 800 mile days are not a problem now.

So how interchangeable are seats between models? Looks like some people can fit touring seats into dyna frame? Am I reading that right? How does that work?

I’m 6’4” as well and I have 1.5 inch riser spacers, 2 inch fwd extensions and a C&C Sporttour seat on my 08 Fbob. I’m pretty comfortable. Try as many seats as you can. I like my C&C but a thicker seat would be ideal to raise me up.

So let me ask this. I see people talk about going lower and going higher, for taller riders it would seem that being higher is the better choice for more legroom, am I wrong in his assumption?

Yeah I think that is what the Tall Boy seat does. Definitely try that seat. They’re ugly but who cares as long as you’re comfortable!
