I've only put it on once so far, on the black paint it makes the surfaces look wet and deep. Tonight a buddy noticed it from 100' away. I haven't put it on chrome yet. From what my BIL said he applies it after a good wash. After that the bugs wipe right off with a wet rag. He uses it as a wax\protective coating after a wash and then as a quick detailer when needed.
