Badlander came on my Springer. Ripped it off and bought a mustang. Currently am sitting on a Sundowner (good deal on a used one from a friend). Would have bought a Mustang if this deal hadn't popped up.

Mustang is a good seat, but is not as good as Corbin IMO. Corbin is comfortable, has a real leather seat area, and looks better than the bulky Mustang. I have owned both and prefer the Corbin.

Like other things in life...choosing a seat is very personal. Add in the fact that they cost a LOT of coin and it's not easy to choose.

I went with a Mustang set-up with no more than sitting on other scoots that had either Mustang or Corbin seats. Not the best...would have been a lot better to have been able to spend so time riding those bikes.

I'm happy with my choice though I'd still like to actually ride a while on a Corbin just to see how it feels...

I have 3 seats for my ride. The stock Heritage seat, Corbin classic solo and a Saddleman king seat. I use the Corbin on long solo rides since it has a rider backrest. For 2-up I put the stock seat back on with the wide touring pillion. The Saddleman has gel pads built in and is the most comfortable of the 3 but tends to push me forward too much. I also had a Mustang square back seat on a Honda 1100 I used to own...still not as comfy as the Saddleman.

On my second Mustang (1st on a V-Star, second on my HD). Both were great but the current one has the rider backrest. It's like sitting in an easy chair, no comparison to my old Sundowner. Haven't taken a really long ride on it but feels like I could go all day wo a problem. My wife likes the wide rear seat too.

Call me weird but I like the stock Harley seat that came on my 03 Heritage and the 06 Ultra. Yes, I ride long distances.

Thanks for all the feedback. Guess i will just start trying to find a used seat instead of buying new one. that way i wont have so much invested.
