use brass wool, steel wool will scratch if you use too much pressure. get it at any hardware store.

 

by the way- what are slacks??

 

Slacks are dudes what don't pull their weight. I always reckoned it were a good idea to burn 'em a bit; might make 'em straighten up and fly right.

I think you should try to get your boss to pay for new pipes, after all the dress code was probably his idea. at least he can replace your "slacks", or give you a raise so you can get a fine imported automobile and still maintain the corporate image he holds so dear. good luck with the dress code.
