Question On Altering Leather Jacket
Has anyone here had a leather jacket altered? Got an older AMF era jacket that has sentimental value I'd like to look into getting done. The length is good on my body and arms but the arms are to baggy for my skinny *** and I'd maybe get an inch or so less in the stomach/waist if I could. Could this be done? If so any idea on the cost?

That should be doable but trying to get one stretched is another story. Too many of us have had leather that has shrunk. Just a matter of finding someone to do it. Not certain where to tell you to check locally but we have a great sponsor here, Captain Itch. If he can't do it maybe he can send you in the right direction. Best of luck!!!

I notice your from New Jersey, if you're anywhere near Freehold Raceway Mall there's Peter's Instant Shoe Repair And Tailoring they have done alterations on both mine and my wife's leather jackets they are next to JC Penny's. The telephone # is 732-308-2355. They do really nice work, I hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in southern NJ just minutes from the Walt Whitman bridge. Will give the place in Freehold a call and see what they can do. If anyone has more suggestions of someplace in the south Jersey, Philly or Wilmington DE area let me know.
Worst case I'll consider your steroid suggestion
