Bubby hit and killed a baby bear last night on my frontage road, he was way lucky it killed the cub but he didn't even do much damage to the bike. Just thought I'd share

Yes he is VERY lucky on several levels. Good thing the momma bear did not eat him!

 

 

That was my first thought.

 

WOW! Looks like deja vu all over again. Several years ago I was riding my Electra Glide on the Skyline Drive in Virginia, and a bear cub all of a sudden appeared right in front of my bike. My recollection is that I didn't have as much lead time as the rider in the above video. I must have been living right on that day to have avoided both the bear and putting the bike down....

 

I just had a baby bear run out in front of me in the Tetons. I was lucky enough to be able to stop in time.

 

pitch black out and the cub was in the middle of the road ,cars on a no shoulder two line and no idea where the mom was... needles to say no photos
