Love the "resurrected thread' notices and the "you do realize it was asked X years ago" .....

Then when someone new asks a question that is common, they usually get met with " Did you do a forum search? Google is your friend"
So. Do you want a new thread to respond to ? Or , Maybe just not mind "resurrected" threads to keep things simple?

The big issue with resurrected threads is people don't read through the thread, then respond to the OP after several years have passed. An ongoing conversation is completely different. Nothing wrong with using "search" to get the answer to a topic or continuing a five year old conversation.
