My take on the 2018's

If the MoCo had not killed the Dynas off they would have had to keep the T/C engines, and If they did that, less people would be buying that new oil cooled twin balanced M8. I also hate the looks of only one gas cap on a big twin gas tank and nothing on the left side to even resemble a gas cap, and that's what I called a Harley signature.

y'all also got to keep in mind how Harley operates. they change up parts of their lineup every couple of years or so. if there's enough demand for one of these bikes but with more classic styling and features, then you can bet there'll be a 2019 or 2020 "Wide Glide" (or whatever) with conventional round headlamps, skinny laced front wheel, and lotsa chrome.

"World markets"
The TC from my understanding doesnt meet the new Euro4 specs, and the M8 doesn't fit the Dyna frame.
There's the "why".
I still like to think we'll see a new revised Dyna in a year or two, but who knows? They definitely made a mistake stealing Dyna model names for the new platforms. Lazy move, imo.
