What the Dickster said. Besides, the bike below which I traded in on a POS '09 slow-as-molasses Stage-1 Streetglide is better looking than any of the turd extractor new-era Harleys and it had bags too. And that sucker was fast, too fast because the 13:1 compression, big roller cam, massive head work and stock pistons added up to uh-oh one day...

My Dynas aren't going anywhere and I'll keep an eye out for an Evo Fat Boy in black, sorta beat with a stars and bars on the oil bag. Like the one below. That should go over real good here on the Mendocino Coast...

I freely admit that the current 2018 SoftDynas (DynaTails?) handle better than any Harley ever made.

Well, except for the FXR. Which I understand is being reborn as a new double-stick-tape nametag on a Softail.

i really dont get all this old man hate. If folks would just try the bikes... but, no. Easier to just sit and be negative. In a year, all the hemming and hawwing will become, "i love".

Anyway, either way I'm not a fan of the new bikes just like new cars. They figure out ways to build them cheaper with more plastic and I do not like it.

Hey! We're not talking about plastic Goldwings. Where's all the plastic on the new '18 HDs?

I haven't even given them an honest look. I'll be going on a run on the 9th, and I'll have a look them ,...at the dealership.

Of course I did the stage 1 and it sounded better, but even after doing a stage 2 it still doesn't sound as good as a carburetor Shovel or Evo. So yes Harley has changed over the years.
my TC has the potato potato sound in my opinion and it is currently bone stock I love it 103 HO

I Love the hypocracy where someone's different opinion is whining and then whining about it in response.

Lol. Would read again.
