I'm allowed to say I don't like something. I'm allowed to say I don't want something. I'm allowed to say I don't intend to buy something.

That doesn't mean I can't afford it. I can afford it.

The vast majority of us in this thread are trying to have a conversation, and we don't need your insults. If you want to participate in the conversation, fine.

If you're here to insult everyone who you don't agree with, then leave.

Not everyone on this forum is rich. I would wager that most are not.

There are at least a handful that their hatred is out of jealousy as evidenced by the nature of their posts. A person doesn't need to be Sigmund Freud to figure that out.

It seems someone may have pushed one of your buttons.

Nope.

I'm just calling out the jerks who insult people because they don't share the same opinions.

It's really not about who has money and who doesn't. It's about insulting people. This: "I always love how people hate on **** because they can't afford it." is an insulting bullshit comment.

I simply pointed that out, along with the clear fact that it doesn't apply to several of us in this thread. And, even when discussing the majority of people who aren't rich, that doesn't mean that their lack of wealth is the reason why they don't buy something.

Sometimes the reason people who aren't wealthy choose not to buy something is because they don't want it.

Hard to believe, but it's true.

I get what you are saying, but there really are some envious jealous jerks trying to make themselves feel better here though.

notwithstanding the cost of the new bikes, I can't afford one. I got no shame in admitting it. my bike is almost paid for, 6 payments left. then, i'll still not buy one. not because I don't like it, but more because I like the idea of not having a payment. and a 2013 is far from being 'old and worn out'.

however, I will admit, there are a few models in the 2018 lineup that I don't care for. but there are also a few models that I wouldn't mind owning either.

i'm looking forward to going to the dealer and seeing a few of them in person.

Yep. It's part of the reason I am like I am and live like I live. I don't understand the world anymore so I largely have stopped living in it. That's another discussion though.

One thing I can't help but notice when looking at the new platform is that despite what the factory came up with, I bet the "custom guys" can't wait to get their hands on that frame.
