I've been thinking about this whole "nanosecond" thing and I don't think it's acceptable in this day and age. I think they should have my part on the truck and be patrolling my neighborhood, waiting for me to click Submit Order.

They probably put it in the mail the day they got it from J&P.

That's pretty ironic as I placed an order on sunday with Ronnie's as well for some gaskets and hardware to go through my rockers with and put in some rockouts. Of course i was cursing them from wednesday on...I kept thinking im one state away...how long could it take lol but then i realized theyre probably closed on monday. You're lying if you say you have never waited anxiously by the mailbox for your new stuff to arrive...I gave up on mine coming for the weekend yesterday but it was like the motorcycle gods smiled down on me because right as I was putting the last retainer clip back in the pushrod tube after adjusting them, (again), this morning the mail lady walked up and put my little box of goodies on the porch...

They don't stock those parts, most items are drop shipped from HD. That's why it takes longer from discount online suppliers!

Again, live and learn. Ronnie's was $30.00+ for a trip odometer reset **** and I learned that J&P has it for $2.99.

I'll cheer up now.

what? last time I bought one of those, it was $15.00. they couldn't have gone up that much could they?

no, outpost Alaska has it for $13.20. part number 67854-98? add another $2 if you want the rubber boot that covers it.

Ronnie's charges $24.99 for the left side cap, plus shipping. Total charge was $37.44.

Then I discovered that J&P sells a set of BOTH caps with gaskets included for $21.99:

Again, live and learn.
