Sportster vs. Dyna Pros and Cons

These types of comments spoken as fact drives me insane...

I don't agree with that at all. That is the one and only thing the Sportster does do better than the Dyna in my opinion. And maybe braking.
I put 20k miles on a 2013 Iron 883 and I'm up to 7K on a 2016 Street Bob. The sportster would run circles around the Bob in the twisties all day long, it was like night and day going from the sportster to the dyna in the handling department. It handled so much better than the dyna. I miss it when I ride certain roads.
But, the dyna is no slouch and of course if we're not talking handling, I like everything else about it so much better.

Because we assigned it weeks ago, and it was written before the announcement came out about the 2018 lineup. Yes, it is a lot less relevant now, but we weren't going to not use it after we went through he trouble. It's like the second atom bomb we dropped on Japan...
