After seeing the 2018 line-up, Are you going to buy?

I am SOOOOOOOO HAPPY I bought my 2017 Heritage. I HATE the new HSTC.. IMO, they cheapened the bike, cut the soul out of it and it looks like they plasti-dipped the bike.. The new paint schemes suck... I can understand why they cut the dyna line as MoCo was having a financial adjustment period but OMG the Low Rider, could they have done more to ugly the bike up? The Fat Bob - yeah, a 900 pound pseudo sport bike... I can go on for an hour.. Why do I sense an epic fail here... The Deluxe, wow... not for me... Boy have things changed and not for the better..

Agreed but...
Me, I see a lot of Yamaha in some of the models. The Low Rider, well it's not a Low Rider any more, it's an FXST. I really liked the model from the last few years, my wife wants one. The Fat Boy!? What's with the headlight? In my opinion the new line is clearly marketed toward the younger generation, that part is good for the future of the MoCo.

Will I? No. It's not in my current budget.
Would I? Yes.
I don't think there ever was an *Out of The Box* Harley that I liked so much, I'd buy it and leave it stock.
Same with the '18 lineup.
Both the Heritage and Fatboy are sweet.
The Fatboy... I'm not a huge fan of the rear fender, or license plate sicking out. But those can be easily swapped.
And I like the '18 Street Glide Special.
This same discussion goes on every year, people whine HD needs to get away from their past, and when they do, people whine.

Obviously Harley is orienting itself towards the up and coming crowd to try to spark interest. It is a business after all. I just question too much change at once. Statistics show Harley's main base--40+ consumers are slowly moving away from the activity but they still buy bikes and they are more conservative in their styling needs. Making too many radical styling or overall changes can cause existing sales from this segment to plummet. If you want a traditionally-styled cruiser with classic looks your choices are now Indian, Yamaha, or Suzuki.
