Right but, don't we pay enough for a half decent HP machine. Let's say 80hp out the box and the extra 20 of ya want it out ya pocket.

Please read whole post :- Revalent to the 1200 cc motor

Yep, Ya can't tell me that Harley can't change out some of the build materials to make ya scoot lighter with out comperizing quality and improve power to weight ratio.

I know that thay have to keep with the single crank pin design , but they can improve other areas of the motor, Like come on 65 hp from a 1200 cc engine,

The Japs , Itailains , Austrians are getting this from their 1 lung engines with ease, So Harley getting 100 hp from 1200 cc is not unobtainable.

Gee Wiz 🙄

We dropped into the dealer to see if they had any of the new 18's in yet. They did so we started looking them over. The salesman we have worked with a lot over the years said I wouldn't like them because they raised the seat height. I'm 5'1" and my '16 Slim S is perfect. I sat on the new Slim and he was right - not only is it a little taller they moved the primary right where my leg needs to go on it's way to the ground a la the old Dyna. So as I'm sitting there with my tip toes on the ground I'm thinking of all the money I'm saving by not buying a new ride.

From what Ive seen so far, no. But I haven't been to the dealership. I still gravitate toward the Sportster Roadster, that is the only new bike I like right now.

Nope. I already wear a pair of Harley boots with 3in heels and 1in soles.

hate to say it, but the Roadster needs rear foot controls, and you can only get those after spending another Hundreds of Dollarsons after sale.
