Buy a New Bike?
I'm really glad the original owner of my bike bought it new. So that 15 years later I could buy it for $5,000. Happy days for her, happy days for me.
I wouldn't be on any bike at all if I had to pay $20+K.
I'm glad people buy new bikes - and cars - so that others can buy them a few years later for much lower prices. And keep the MoCo in business.
So buy a 2018, or grab a 2017 Twin Cam while you can. God love ya.
I hope to see you ten years from now; I'll buy yours so you can buy a 2028.

Can we get back to talking snow tires please??
I'm a snow tire believer. Here in Wisconsin we get snow quite a bit and it's not the deep stuff that's the problem, it's just the plain old regular 1-3 inches that makes the driving treacherous. I'll take my front wheel drive Honda with snow tires all day every day over our AWD Durango with all-season tires. It will run rings around the Durango, or any other AWD suv I have had with all-seasons. Reason being, tire compound. At a certain temp all-season tires get hard as hockey pucks. Winter tires stay soft and grabby.

You wont go to far following the fwd with blizzaks,.let alone chains..... My STI on Michelin Pilot SS is like bowling ***** on ice in the snow..... Snow driving isnt my use for the car, but have played in the snow from time to time.
And yes, I grew up driving alot of cars in the snow, growing up in the mtns as a kid..... I already see the bogus argument of driver....

You must live down south where 1" of snow is considered a blizzard and everything shuts down, but up here we're still up and running with a foot of snow. An AWD with traction control and all season tires is most certainly better for cutting through snow and having control of the car. I didn't even have all season tires on my Subaru last winter and I could barely fishtail taking corners even when I tried.
BTW...99% of America says "Oh Crap!!!" when they hit the ice... Iowa, we say "Hold on and watch what I can do!!"

I went to the dealer the other day with my Pop. We both agreed that the new softails were not very nice to look at. Especially the Heritage with the red denim paint. The new sales guy came over and we started to talk. He asked my opinion and I told him. He walked us to the back where they had just unloaded a vivid black heritage. My dad and I both agreed, it looked sharp! It changed my mind and I told the salesman that. I felt bad as I saw his eyes light up. I have no plans to buy another harley anytime soon but if I were looking that would be a top contender
