Are those skid plates on the bottom of the bags?

The extended bags come with them. Mine have never touched the ground, unlike my boards and pipes.

After seeing the 2018 line-up prices, yes, I'm going to buy .... a Camaro.

FLSTFI Dave, I generally like a chromed out bike but your new ride is one of the most bitchin' rides I have ever laid my eyes on! That gunship gray on both the "tins" and wheels, accented with the blacked out bits and the sparse chrome bits makes for a really incredible looking bike. Harley really nailed it when they put that simple bar and shield on the gas tank with just a hint of the reddish/orange from your rocker boxes.

I had thought about a new Ultra Classic but other than the black, I dont like any of the new colors. Guess I'll wait another year

Yes, they come on all the CVO bikes with the extended bags. I have never hit the bags skid plates, but have floor boards or side stand.

Thank you. Its a lot different from the typical flashy CVO's I have had in the past. Its just clean, simple and understated which I find like for a change.

Looks like they're Interested only in the young generation who like smaller, sporty bikes. e.g. the single shock, and max hp. It's all about wheelies and racing. No thanks.

Perhaps, but to my eye we're comparing a "last year" Fat Bob to a first year Fat Boy variant, Personally I do wish they'd simply retired the Fat Bob name with the Dyna line it was a part of, and come out with new name for the new Fat Bob. YMMV, I suppose the same could have been said about the first T-Bird with a back seat.
