the breakout and wide glide aren't the same bike the wide glide has further reaching forward controls and a 34 degree rake over the stock rake which I thin is 32 or 31 degree the wide glide also has the skinny front wheel even skinnier then the breakout the breakout was around before the killed the dynas I have a wide glide and it shares nothing with a breakout other then the 17 model has the same twin cam 103 engine only it was a balanced twin cam

definitely your opinion... all i see is a weak×$$ iron with crappy brakes, a tacky bird, tired narrow glide, bad suspension, and cliche blackout treatment in the cradle. The iron is a joke... always has been. I hate that POS, and they made it worse....

Reminds me of New Coke. I know they need to change. The Dyna line needed a game changer sales wise. The softtail fenders? Were there any upgrades to the touring line to make it more competitive with the competition? I did not see any. I won't make up my mind until I ride one.
My initial online response, "oops."
My future sales. I planned to purchase a new touring bike this fall or spring. Since touring did not change, why hurry. I was also looking to get a new dyna for commuting. I sold my old commuting bike to make room. Guess I'll buy a used one or a 17 now. Dyna sales faltered because they kept screwing with them. It is an entry level or second bike, keep it simple and adaptable. They lost that vision a while ago.
I would not trust Polaris, so they are out. Not sure what to do for the new touring bike replacement. Guess we just go to the dealer and see what happens, left over 17 maybe, 16 even. We just don't know. The paint schemes seem so unHarley. Even my girlfriend does not like the new colors.

Granted... Not a fan of the 883... Prefer the 1200. That's why I have a Nightster.
