Good riddance to the Dyna. They weren't selling. If they were then HD would have kept them around. I like the merge and smaller lien up. Why they kept the Street I'll never figure out.

Will I be buying new? No I have a 17 Street Glide and they didn't make any changes to the 18's and I doubt they will any time soon

I like the 2018's. I'll keep my LRS but may buy a used 2018 or 2019 in a few years. I like the Street Bob..

I dig the new Fat Bob,....a lot. Took a few minutes for my eyes to adjust from the shock of all the changes to the line up, but I came around on this one. Kinda make me think of Mad Max, which I love.

The Fat Boy, which is the softail I like, may take a bit to grow on me. Maybe a bit too modern?

But I'm not in the market for a new scoot so it doesn't matter.

Default France does not like 2018 models

The new Harley 2018 range was very much anticipated in France.
However, it seems that to this day, many owners of Harley are very disappointed and some even think to look at the other manufacturers (Indian, Triumph ...)

The main crumpled points are:

- the look:
it seems that Harley loses may has its origins and the motorcycles look more and more to the Japanese.

- the prices:
firstly if it comes to buying a motorcycle that looks like a Japanese why pay 30 to 40% more expensive (in France ....).
Then how to justify a price difference of more than 4000 euros (in France) between a street bob ABS (15610 euros) and a softail slim (20160 euros) whose main differences are now the fork, the size of the tank and the meter ?

Many people will surely go to the side of the opportunity to retrieve old models ....

Be indulgent with my English

Scared of change? I was one of the first of my friends to buy an EVO and took lot's of heat for it back in the 80's so spare me the fear of change bit.

I have two TC's and will be picking up and Evo shortly, just because thats whats in the stable doesn't mean I don't like change. What I see in 18 isn't my taste or style but for those that take the plunge, enjoy the ride!

the older breakout looked better. The new led headlight on the 2018 is mean.

The fat bob and breakout (wide glide) are best in show. 117 on them xitches.... woot! Fuel moto for the win.

the breakout and wide glide aren't the same bike the wide glide has further reaching forward controls and a 34 degree rake over the stock rake which I thin is 32 or 31 degree the wide glide also has the skinny front wheel even skinnier then the breakout the breakout was around before the killed the dynas I have a wide glide and it shares nothing with a breakout other then the 17 model has the same twin cam 103 engine only it was a balanced twin cam
