Years ago 83/85 i was in the rhine valley and did the rhine in flames boat tour...freakin awesome..

Wife and I was there '88-'90. Absolutely LOVED it there. The Rhine in Flames tour was great..from what I rememebr of it..We were stationed in Mainz-Weisbaden. Loved the German people, thier culture, food..and of course, the beer

I was in Heidelberg from 82-83 and 85-88, and then in various other locales from 90-93.

Great roads, great food, and GREAT Beer!!

 

I was in Mannheim from 94-01 as a truck driver in the Army ofcourse and loved it travelled all over, great people, even married one of em... lol.
