2 person tent

That being said you can buy motorcycle specific tents that come with and extra shelter to cover your bike at night and keep it out of sight, I've seen them for ADV bikes not sure if they would work on an HD thought

A big +1 on getting what you pay for, also going for something larger than a 2 man tent. I use this for camping fast and light, even solo:

It's great having two separate doors and vestibules, and it's always nice having extra space.

2 people = 4 man tent. It's nice to put your bag of clothes in the tent with you. Read the dimensions, if the floor of the tent is 6' and you are 6', that means you will be touching the walls while you sleep, rain will come through the walls where something touches the walls.

When I used to do a lot of cycle camping, I used a Eureka Timberline 2 person tent. My wife and I would put the tent and two sleeping bags in a duffel bag and strap it across the back of the bike. If I ever get back into that again, I'll find a Dome tent that I can stand up in.
Don't use it anymore, should probably do something with it.

I did a lot of backpacking in the sierras and rockies in my younger days. My experience is a 2 man tent is for 1 person. I'd look for a 7X7 4 man for 2 people. I used a Coleman 7X7 fiber glass poles and rainfly for years. It was easy to set up roomy and wasn't expensive. It held up in storms. Gave it to my granddaughter who uses it for desert camping.
Also recommend battery powered self inflateable air mattress. I used an Eddie Bauer queen size for wife and I. No air pump needed. Don't know if they still make it.
Now I don't rough it. I get a cabin at a KOA. Hot showers, laundromat, firewood, and cold beer in their store. Bring your own sleeping bag. It may be cheaper than buying new gear.
