One million feathers will take up more space then 10 pounds of bricks but the bricks weigh more . So no weight has absolutely nothing to do it. Distribution of mass is what's important and if anyone has ever used a tent before the general rule is that a four person tent will fit two people with some gear.

That being said you can buy motorcycle specific tents that come with and extra shelter to cover your bike at night and keep it out of sight, I've seen them for ADV bikes not sure if they would work on an HD thought

It's great having two separate doors and vestibules, and it's always nice having extra space.
I have used Eureka tents in the past, with shock corded poles (they pop open) no erector set issues. Quality and easy peasy. I believe I had the Eureka Timberline 2 model. Used it for 10 years and gave it to one of the kids and they used it for years. This is not a cheap tent. Replacement parts are available if needed.

2 people = 4 man tent. It's nice to put your bag of clothes in the tent with you. Read the dimensions, if the floor of the tent is 6' and you are 6', that means you will be touching the walls while you sleep, rain will come through the walls where something touches the walls.

+1 on this, I bought a four man tent to go to Sturgis this year, and was just me in the tent. I hadn't been in a tent for over 20 years. When I had it set up and got it in I thought to myself that four people would be a big stretch. Don't get a two person tent. Also, an air mattress is a must IMO, even just a cheap one.

I've still got my Timberline Deluxe with vestibule. I used to stick it in a bag with the rest of my stuff and strap the bag to the back of my Low Rider.

Don't use it anymore, should probably do something with it.

I did a lot of backpacking in the sierras and rockies in my younger days. My experience is a 2 man tent is for 1 person. I'd look for a 7X7 4 man for 2 people. I used a Coleman 7X7 fiber glass poles and rainfly for years. It was easy to set up roomy and wasn't expensive. It held up in storms. Gave it to my granddaughter who uses it for desert camping.
Also recommend battery powered self inflateable air mattress. I used an Eddie Bauer queen size for wife and I. No air pump needed. Don't know if they still make it.

Now I don't rough it. I get a cabin at a KOA. Hot showers, laundromat, firewood, and cold beer in their store. Bring your own sleeping bag. It may be cheaper than buying new gear.

Yeah an air mattress is crucial for insulating you from the cold, cold ground.
