There's a select few I ride with a lot. I don't mind riding alone but I have a great time with friends, taking camping trips and just exploring around.
I work a three on three off schedule on the North Slope of Alaska. When I'm off, I ride daily. 90% of the time by myself occasionally with one or two others. I enjoy the solitude and peace of mind that comes with riding alone.

I've gotten to the age where my "old" riding buddies have either died off or can't ride anymore. So I either ride alone or with my wife who rides her own.
My last riding buddy and his wife sold their Harleys earlier this year, they are strictly into boating now. Prior to that another couple got out as well; Gold Wing and Shadow there. Couple of solo rider friends but timing is a bitch. Got a few at work but their rides tend to be to places I don't want to ride and one of them just scares me if you know what I mean
I like solo riding for a long trip, I like to ride for as long as I want and stop for a short time. I can't stand all this hanging around at gas stations while everybody gets on the phone, takes forever to pee etc. Plus I also get on the road early.
Can you have a talk with my wife? Maybe she'll listen to you!
After working 6 days a week, I take off Sunday's to go have lunch 50 miles away. I ride solo and never in a hurry to get where I want to go or even come back home. Like others have said, that the old riders of years gone by have died, moved on or have a lot of medical issues. I prefer the solitude and peace of the wind when I ride.
99.9 % Solo, I have always been a loan wolf "but this means group rides," but if it means me and my lovelier half, than the percentage changes to 99.7 %.
The guy that got me into riding was the only one I'd ride with. He recently lost both legs (well not really lost, I know where they are) to diabetes so he no longer rides. He rides in spirit with me but it's not quite the same
