I will ride with a group of 7 or 8 every once and a while, or with just a friend, but mostly I prefer to ride alone. I can start when I want, stop when I want. Eat, ***** or rest when I want. I went to the dragon solo for a week trip. Sure it was lonely at night but I met some guys and gals at the hotel doing the same as me.

 

I really have to say that the Best of riding times for me was with a girlfriend that road her own bike , we had fun

It's rare that I don't.... the OL rides with me to the gym once in a while, but that's about it

 

99%. I like it like that.

 

When I first started riding I learned a lot from following a couple of experienced riders. Now I usually ride alone. My mentor recently dumped his wife of 40 years, for a lady 17 years younger than himself. We won't be rolling together anymore.

My wife called me and her new friend invited us to go on a ride together. She said her husband doesn't like to ride fast. I like to pass bunched up cars, pickups, billboard vehicles, and cruise 9 over. So I'll enjoy making some new friends, but the ride will be blah.

I ride alone almost all of the time...my girlfriend will never get on a motorcycle and when I ride with friends I feel like I slow them down or feel the need to keep up. It's easier for me to just ride solo and do my own thing!

 

I use to ride in clubs when i had my sportbikes and ducati. I then started riding with just my buddies. Soon i stopped doing that as well and just ride alone. Honestly i just dont like to have to follow someone elses pace, whether that is too slow or too fast for me. I also like to stop when i want to stop.

 

Yep, that's nice. My wife rides her own bike, and has been for a long time. She's also a better rider than most anyone else I know.
