We love to ride period. If we are on a ride alone or with a group we are happy.
Have made a lot of great riding friends in our local HOG chapter. Do chapter and non-chapter rides with these folks. Have taken 3k + trips just the two of us and greatly enjoyed riding alone. Have one close friend that I have also done some long rides with that have been a blast.
You can easily make some new riding buddies if you want to.
Ride safe.

ride almost daily back and forth to work. most times I jump on bike and take a ride by myself. My Legion Riders group seems to be dwindling and participation is almost non-existent. I found most times on these group rides, I would head out by myself or with 3-4 other bikes and head to next location. I've ridden in groups, escorts, Rolling Thunder and it's ok for some special things. But as a rule, I prefer alone or with 1-3 close buds.

I ride every day, rain or shine. I ride to work daily and around town. Weekends I ride Saturday or Sunday an average of 300 miles. Always by my self. In two weeks, I'm leaving on a 2 week ride, approximately 6,000 miles, by my self. None of my "friends" want to ride that far or for that long, even the retired guys. I'm ok with it. Enjoy the solitude. Talk to folks along the way when I want.

i ride alone 95% of the time. The other 5% is an occasional small group ride to an out of town AA meeting and on small group trip to the hill country every year. I prefer to ride as fast or slow as i want to and stop or not stop as i see fit. Riding is how I relax and with a group, even a small one, I don't get to just be.
