I will only ride alone (with my wife on back), no groups or even 1 (friends or family) for me. I don't want to have to spend my time watching out for the other riders, slinky effect, I don't ride fast, don't like all the waiting, especially hate riding from one bar to another.

We like scenic, slow and pretty, so I want to look around at the scenic, not focus on the riders.

 

I've always believed there are two types of riders. Those that just love to ride and those that have a bike for the social side of it.

I think groups like HOG and others are made up primarily of the social types.

 

I love riding alone. Do it all the time.

Sometimes I ride with other people. I love that too.

 

try to get out and ride with a few close friends throughout the season. Some of the best riding however is solo or with my wife.
