How many ride alone???

On long rides (8+ hrs) I can't imagine going as a group. Solo, I can do a "Nascar" stop and be back on the road quick. I do ride local with a new club, we visit a different bar/restaurant most Tuesdays, and donate to various charities. The "slinky" effect is a pain on group rides. It helps if the ride leader has a very steady throttle hand, or better yet, uses his cruise control when it's safe to do so.

I ride with a buddy to Colorado, Tenn and Arkansas, but it feels more like a couple of old ladies bickering. I ride alone 95% of the time. Face in the breeze, left or right, country roads, doesn't matter as long as I'm headed in a direction.

This. Plus, they want to leave the bar and ride TEN MILES to the next bar. F#ck that, how about 50 or a hundred then a stop...?

i ride alone 99% of the time. Not by choice but by circumstance. Once in a while I get a ride with my old man but for most of my riding I commute in crosstown traffic on my lowrider. I get probably one real long pleasure cruise per week. Texting drivers, bad drivers and anything in between are ALL scary but if riding wasn't my lifeblood I'd have stopped years ago. I have to say I don't mind riding alone but welcome anyone else to ride with me. I took off my 2-up seat years ago and it is still in the box in the attic. In all honesty I'd rather not have anyone else on back as my responsibility. Anyhow the solitude while on the machine is what I enjoy the most. Just my take.
