Passing Lamps - Where do the hot wires connect?
Okay, after an evening and morning of grinding my passing light receptacles with a Dremel, the new LED's are seated and ready to be mounted.
I've tested each light on the battery of an old truck and both lights work great.
But where do they connect on the bike? It's a 1994 Fatboy.
I'm assuming that they splice into the hot wire for the low beam somewhere, right? And if at all possible, I would rather not have to go into the headlight dome.
YouTube is usually my friend, but so far, not on this. It seems like such a simple question....
So what's the deal?
EDIT: How about this? Could I:
1. Remove a couple inches of insulation from the three wires that go into the headlight.
2. Splice and solder the two hot wires from the passing lamp into the yellow wire (which should be for low beam).
3. Tape it all back up.

I thought this question would be a very simple one, as in, where to plug the wires in. But it has become a research project.
