I have a Master Blaster Junior that I bought online from Car Guys Garage. I paid 65.00 for it and have used it for years. I just checked and they no longer offer it. It puts out warm filtered air and is great for the small tight areas that are hard to access.
Yes, you can use a leaf blower...It will give you the same effect as riding through a rain storm and the dirt you encounter that sticks to the bike. I used a leaf blower when my Cycle Dryer quit. Welcome to Chinese tools and throw away plastic. This is what I had and it lasted about a year.

 

Just a warning about leaf blowers, I've used one for years to dry my bike and always get good results, but I got a surprise this year. I got the blower out and started drying the bike when all of a sudden I heard something hitting the bike like a thousand little stones. Turns out mud daubers had built a nest in the blower where the fan blades are. When I turned it on it blew tiny little pieces of mud and spiders all over my freshly cleaned bike. Luckily no damage to the bike but it scared the hell out of me and I had to clean the front end of the bike again.

 

Do they come in chrome?

 

I use my gas powered leak blower. Noisey and awkward to hold away from the bike because of the long tube and using both hands so it doesn't touch the bike. How does the HD blower compare to a regular leaf blower as far as cfm output? Been hesitant to buy one because just assumed has a low output volume.

It's bad enough my daughter wanted me to buy a pink Harley (I went with black) and now a recommendation for a Hello Kitty hair dryer. What's this world coming to? lol

 

There is no easy solution. I live on the beach in an oceanfront condo about 20 miles south of St. Augustine and my underground parking garage is open but I park on the back row; however, everything gets a salty film. I ordered a Cycle Shell to park it in and other than covering it I have to just wipe down the areas that are prone to corroding. Ceramic coating will help but just keep your eyes open for signs of corrosion since you can get rid of it sooner than waiting until it gets too bad.

Just a note. If you're going to use one of those two stroke gas powered blowers be advised that several of them blow the exhaust out the front with the air. Not something you want all over your nicely cleaned bike.
