Default "Throw over" style saddle bags

can someone describe the different types of mounting systems for saddle bags. I see alot of throw over styles, but are they just throw over, and thats it? are they gonna fly off when I ride? I want something I can take off and on easily and ones that look clean when they are off. dont want abunch of bolts, brackets, etc. visible when I take em off. thanx

The Bareback mount system has chrome caps you can buy to cover the piece that remains on the bike. I like having the flexability of having the bags or not and for the few times I ride without the bag....I can live with the mounts that remain in place.

throw over usually means you remove the seat throw em on and reinstall the seat and your butt keeps em in place( i think!!)

I've had throw overs in the past and always secured them under the passenger seat. If you don't tie 'em down decent they're gonna flop all over.

i have throw overs and put them under the passenger seat, if u have a solo there should be a hole in the back fender from a full seat, if so i would just put a little hole in the center of the throw overs and put a bolt through it into the rear fender that way they don't slide off, mine also came with lether strings to tie the bottom to the swingarm
