Are we allowed to use the words "Harley" and "Honda" in the same sentence?

That means that I would pick a sportster over a V Rod.
I believe the CB is air cooled.

You have a CVO, get the Honda. Now if Kawasaki made a throwback KZ 900 I would be all over it.

This would be a tough call for me. I'd probably lean to the Sporty due to likely better resale value (since apparently you trade bikes frequently?) And more mod potential. But I learned to ride on a 77 CB750K - that CB1100 looks like it would be an awful lot of fun...

I'm both glad I'm not in your shoes to have to pick, and wishing I had this kind of problem at the same time!

Post pics of whatever you get when you get it home!

By golly I think you are right, "after closer inspection," I'll have my wife make me an appointment with the Optometrist for next Thursday, and everyone had better stay off the sidewalks till then. LOL

The CB1100 is a nice looking bike but IIRC, it's restricted to 110 MPH which is slower than the original 750 Four. That kills it for me, because a good running 750 Twin will do that.
But getting to 110mph only takes 8 seconds on the Honda.
Top speed is one thing, getting there is something else.
Also an electronically limited 110mph top speed cant compare with old school, no-electronic nanny 750 four. Tune the limit out and the CB1100 is faster top end.

The cb1100 is air cooled... that's part of the appeal

I need to say I traded a 40th anniversary hayabusa for my 2012 48, I will be ok that it's not that fast. I was lucky to have a driver's license when I sold the busa
