I just wanted a bike to run around town on! For what it's worth I have this bike already

You don't have to suck up anything. You got your second bike, and a good one. The name on the side of the tank doesn't matter. It has 2 wheels and it'll be a fun bike to run around town on. Enjoy!

If this were the 80s, the OP would be hunted down and his house bulldozed and earth salted.

Thankfully, people have changed as HD got itself back and won market share.
In his favor, randyp probably doesn't remember the tariff on metrics. Or understand the difference between Harleys of today and those back in the AMF days.

id get the honda. If you already have a harley no doubt about it, have the best of both worlds. The sportster is one hell of a boring slow beast, if fun is what your after.

It's the only Honda that appeals to me. Probably because of the memories it brings back.
