Default Vee bike tires

Anyone ever tried them? Got an eflier from Jireh cycles and the prices look very good. Can't say I have ever heard of them but I usually stick with the big 3, Dunlop, Metzler and Michelin. I have tried a not so well known tires before for a sports car, can't remember the name, but they turned out to be outstanding tires, especially for handling the curves.

So, anybody have any feedback on Vee?

Never heard of them. They look decent but who knows. I am one to usually try new stuff like you. You sometimes find good stuff. What kind of research could you do?

You can search around and you won't find very good reviews of their tires. better off spending the money for a good name brand. Me I'm a fan of Avon

If you want good inexpensive tires look into Shinko's. You'll be hard pressed to find a bad review on them. I had them on my Low Rider and was surprised how well they performed.

I've never heard of a Vee bike tire But "Kenda" makes a real asphalt grabbing motorcycle tire they are sticky like you wouldn't believe. The only thing wrong with them is they don't do a white wall tires, unless they changed in the last two years.

V rubber has been around for quite awhile. I looked at their products awhile back, but as I remember they were not a cheap tire and fast wearing. They are made in Thailand and rumor has it they discontinued motorcycle tires. I am also an Avon Cobra fan on my FL. It is the best riding, best handling, quietest tire I have ever ridden on. The wear is yet to be seen.

I'm usually go with Pirelli Night Dragon's, which I absolutely love, but this last time I went with Avon Cobra's for my softail because I got them at an incredible price ($204 for a 90/90-21 front and a 200/55-17 rear). Almost 6000 miles on them and they're wearing very well. I think I still like the Pirelli's better but it's almost too close to call.

On a lighter bike the cheap VEE or Shinkos
do ok but I wouldn't put them on a heavy touring bike.
