I went to a birthday party for the mother of our pastor's wife. She is 75 .
Anyhoo one of the ladies that I have run into on many occasions, was in the buffet line ahead of me, and starts to tell me about how her husband wants to get a motorcycle, and is thinking about taking the rider safty course. I kinda thought that she was sharing this info with me, because she had seen my honey, or I riding to church once er twice.
Appearently, she is not keen to his plan, as when I said, a very enthusiastic "right on!!" she looked at me like I was crazy. I then said to her, "you know I ride too", her responce was a shocked "really?!?"
I proceeded to encourage the safty course idea, and highlight the awesome safty techniques he would learn there.

The subject was soonly changed, but I was giggling in my head, all the way back to my table.

 

..maybe the poor chum won't get it too bad from her if he takes the safety course.[&:]

 

Some folks will never get it. (The thrill and excitement of ridin')
Hope he comes over to the dark side.

I guess that some people just don't understand the joys of riding or why somebody else likes to ride.
