Yep. Motorcycles involve wind, so tell her to get used to it.
If she doesn't like wind, tell her to ride in the car.

I always get a laugh at these type of posts. So, let's see if I got this right. We ride to be In the Wind. Consider the fact that motorcycles offer the least protection from Mother Nature in the form of wind, rain, snow and ice. Riding a motorcycle is going to literally put you in the wind and move the soul. However, there is a perfect options to ride BUT stay out of the wind. No more wind buffeting, no more thought of changing to a different windshield . . just ride in a personal comfort zone. GET A CAR. With one of these, you are encapsulated in wind screens and will probably feel more comfortable.

Fangs made a huge difference for me. I did lose a little mpg though. Not much, I still got 42mpg on my last 325 mile ride

Local riding I agree about getting into the wind. Long distance forget about it.
