Default No windscreen..what eye protection are you using?

Bought a new RKS and I like to ride sometimes without my windscreen however, as soon as I hit 45MPH my standard glasses that I have used for years are totally useless. Strangly when I ride my bobber at 60 I have zero issues!! I guess its wind dynamics.

Anyway, I am looking for what those who ride without a windscreen find works the best. Maybe after all these years ridding a batwing bike spoiled me a little.

Face shield with my 3/4 helmet and WileyX prescription goggles with my half helmet. The WileyX goggles have a cushion so that they fit pretty tight to my face.

I have a pair of wiley X riding glasses that work pretty good for me. I switched over to wearing a full face helmet though because I got tired of the sand/rocks/s*** hitting me in the face. It's really a compromise. I can't stand the way the windshield makes my bike look, so I only run it on long trips.

No windshield here. If wanted one, I'd ride in the car. But I have a face shield on my 3/4 helmet. I'm not completely stupid.

I bought a pair of safety goggles which I wear over my glasses. You have to try on a few pairs though to get the fit that does nor interfere with your specs...b.

When the windshield is on, I use Wiley-X and my half helmet. When the windshield is off, I've got a full face, with regular Oakley's for sun.

I wear the same cheap sunglasses riding different style bikes from upright to semi upright to a tuck position on my sport bike with no windshield and never had that problem. Might be something to do with riding with a fairing for a long time and it just feels weird, or maybe the type of glasses. BTW, congrats on your new RKS....I love what they did to it. It's the only bagger I'd buy if I were in the market for one.

Same, don't wear a helmet here either....but the wife and myself are changing that now. When I do wear a helmet its always a half helmet.

I wear glasses as well and always wear a set of impact resistant goggles. You get hit in the face by a bug and those goggles will forever be your best friend. The kind I wear are also used by aircraft pilots. They are UV resistant and come in many flavors.
