2017 New vs 2015 Ultra Tri Glide
My unofficial adopted son is a salesman at my local HD and I love the new Tri's. I do not really wanna pull the trigger on a new Ultra yet....price is ....shew!! But they do have a 2015 the took on trade. They had to put a brand new motor in it. The owner traded on a new M8 Tri Glide. He ran over something on the road in the 2015, it hit the oil pan or whatever (not a mech.) and it ruined the motor and a new motor was just installed.
So..I could theoretically buy a 2017 new Ultra (list is 37 plus tax, right arm and all the added), a new Free Wheeler for like 29 after a few extras .....this 2015 with 22K on the odometer and a new 103 motor with 0 on it for 30k. Wife wants me on a Trike too since I am a disabled Vet but still get around ok. My 09 Heritage Classic is awesome but a challenge sometimes and will not ride 2 up....knees toast.
What would you do if you were me and was gonna buy soon??? New or this 2015?

What's the price on the '15?
Your unofficial adopted son may not tell you, but the new motor in the '15 doesn't add any value to the trike. Its still a '15 Tri Glide with 22k miles on it. I'm guessing with the prices you quoted, the new Tri Glide and Freewheeler you're looking at have an optional color or two tone paint & a few accessories on them. If not, unofficially adopt another son at another dealership.

the dealer wants 30k(too much I think) for the 2015 and I told him to see what the best price is and lemme know about a warranty that may come with. I agree about not adding value....that is what I told him. My unofficial adopted son LOL has been a great friend of the family for over 20 yrs and a straight shooter so I won't go anywhere else. If not a great deal I may just wait. Just saw this 2015 today and got the hamsters in my noggin spinning.
