Default Chrome Handlebar controls

Hello everyone, I wanted to find out some recommendations on chrome handle bar controls for my bike. I would like to replace the black factory set up including the brake levers.

What brand would you suggest? Thanks as always.

What bike do you have. On my old 09 RK, the internal parts to the housings just kinda fell apart once I started to take off the internal mounting plates. I use generic chrome housings from Ebay which were fine but it was getting alll the internal pats back together that was the issue. Take photos along the way as you take things apart.

I now have a 2017 RK. Again, I bought grneric chrome parts ( less than$30) on Ebay. On the 2017, the housing just came off and all the internals parts stayed put on the bars until I got the new housings back on. Took 5 minutes. Bottom line, I used low cost parts from Ebay and found them to fit like the factory housings. The fit and chrome quality were fine each time. Older bikes may be a bjt more complicated so take notes along the way.

I thought about it but the inner wiring isn't something I want to try to get right...I can get it wrong with no problem. I thought about having it done at the shop and was told even the techs hate to mess with it. And it's not cheap. But it does look nice.

I replaced everything with HD parts; levers, housings, master cylinder as well as chrome caps.

I was thinking of doing this as well. Only part that looks hard is to replace the master cylinder.

If I do, it will be a winter project.

Wiring isn't bad, everything is color coded. Match it back up.

I just replaced the buttons with chrome buttons. The contrast of chrome on black helps me see the buttons at night so I can get to them quickly. It was an easy job.

DBlass You have a link to the 30 dollar chrome housings for the 17's?
