green light triggers?

RE: green light triggers?
I think it depends on what trips the light . In my area the lights are tripped by some wire that is in the pavement that runs across the road and picks up some kind of magnetic disturbance or something like that ( If you can't tell , I have really no great idea on how lights work )from your engine sothose lil pastic incased magnets were like a charm here.

the wire in the ground is a mass sensor. a small current is passed through it and when it picks up added resistance it triggers the light. no need to restart you engin just stop right over the wire (lenght wise not across) and it will trip. if you find a stuborn light roll your bike back a bit and move up slowly.

RE: green light triggers?
I had a couple not triggering when I pulled up to them on my bike but I figured out finally where I have to be to trip the light and haven't had a problem with them since but I still find one every now and then on rides that are stubburn.
