Helmets do nothing towards controlling road gremlins.

So I use both.

I had a bell on my bike that was from my brittany spaniel that died. I took it off this past spring for some reason, and I had a lot of electrical problems after that. Coincedence I guess. I always wear a helmet.

I'm putting the bell back on for next year, though. I never have been given a riding bell though.[]

Bell? A Helmet for me, a full face model at that.Along with a padded jacket, jeans, gloves, and boots.I ride hard,I can't do that comfortably or confidently when I'm not protected.

Both, wife gave me the bell so on it went. Although Colorado is a free state for now I still wear a helmet, usually just a beanie because it's my choice.

Unless the bell is as big as my helmet, I'll take the helmet every time. Bells are cute, helmets offer some protection if you decide to wear one...

Bell for tradition.
Helmet, boots, armored or leather jacket, and gloves.
Allthe time.
Because I want to.
