When I get my LR I was thinking about an Ipod with speekers with
ACDC`s

I put mine on the front of my right grip, where I and everyone else can see it but I'm not superstitious though. I just think they're cool and it puts a smile on my face. If you haven't seen the commercials that Progressive Insurance is doing of the Gremlins sabotaging bikes, they are hilarious. I posted one in the Off Topic Videos section if you'd like to see. I'll plug in the other one too as they're very entertaining. Very clever marketing concept.

OK, got my first Harely, a Deuce, a few weeks ago for my 10th Wedding Anniversary. A buddy gave me a Guardian Bell and said put this on your bike before it's too late. Where the hell are the rest of you superstitious bastards putting these things? I don't want to screw up a tradition!

Got one from my son, one from riding buddy. Hung one on each highway peg.
Who cares if there's a "real tradition" or not. Most everyone I know has one,...no harm done........hang it where ever ya want, nobody's business but yours!

On my RK I hung mine behind the rear tire up under the fender. It just hangs below the bottom of the fender.

.5 fits the bill.
the Bells were used to indicate you were signed up for the jack pine races(which also
started the sturgis rally, another fine tradition) http://www.jackpinegypsies.com/history.htm
like a registration number. its been carried on since then in the form of gremlins.
Sorta like Saint Nicolas's turned into Santa Claus.
so I would say its a tradition much like the Harley Hog.
I dont beleive in gremlins but if someone gave me a bellI would hang it on my bike
because it was a gift from a friend.
