This is first time ever using hdforums so pardon me if I'm doing this wrong guys.
I just bought 2005 sportster 1200C. Has stage 1 intake and slip ons. Runs great but reading this fuel issue, I'm interested to know if my bike can have FI added or am i stuck with carb?
(notice my forum name, NOVICE lol)

For most builds, wouldn't tuning handle this? Not sure how big engine has to get before you need bigger injectors. But I bet if you looked in engine build area of forums, people have talked about it what is needed or what they do.

People build these engines up all the time. Probably more so with carbs though. But that will go away.

Anything is possible, but not everything is wise. Keep your carb.

Sidenote: If you have a new topic, post in appropriate sub forum; don't tag onto an existing thread. Welcome. Post an intro in the "new members" section.

There was a good "Sportster jetting" thread here a week or two ago.

Probably better of buying a FI bike. There are people that have gone back and forth and thought it was worth it.

Granted I get attached to things, and buying and selling can be a hassle too.

Yes, they're called Mukuni (s), a 42mm will usually do a stock motor, 45 and up for larger
