Don't you hate it when someone you don't know comes up next to you at a stop light (same lane) and stops! [:@]I ask them, in a unfriendly tone,"do you know me?" When they say "no", I tell them to get the F@#K out of MY space! I always stop in the center of the lane to try to discourge it from happening, but some people are just ignoant.[sm=icon_beat.gif]

 

i kinda like it when someone pulls up next to me at a a light. makes both of us more visable to whoever is coming up behind us. two sets of lights are better than one. my momma taught me how to share though too.

 

Yea I leave room so if a bike comes along he/she can pull up next to me.

 

At a stop light it's no big deal as long as it is another motorcycle.

 

I'm guilty of doing it, but usually only after getting a waive, nod, or some type of acknowledgement from the rider.

If the other rider is in the center of their lane, I don't do it.
If they're to one side and have given me a waive/nod, I'll usually pull up and make a comment.
I love motorcycles and there are few bikes out there that I can't find something to like about. So, usually one of my first comments is a compliment regarding something on/about their bike.

I never pull up and just sit there and never without some welcome action by the other rider. I also make sure to let them take off well before I do when the light turns green. They were there first, after all.

 

I'm OK with any scoot sharing the space at a light, if it's a safe situation. Can check out the rigging... see if I know them.

Unless it's a rider who has been riding like a jerk in traffic... then I'll spread eagle the feet so that they can't get close to me.

 

That's a good reason to have them behind you, gives you more of a chance to get away.....LOL

We ride all day side by side. But not next to some newbe! They need all the room they can get.
