They suck, for the bike and for the people around the bike and for the neighborhood you live in. My Dyna had Python Drag pipes on it when I bought it, I put a bassani on it the change in performance is dramatic. Thunder header or Bassani.

The wife's 110 has V&H Big radius pipes on her cammed and tuned 110 it's stout and fast but it could be stouter. I tried to get her to switch to a 2 into 1 when we were fixing a few things after a little oopsie. We would have been able to get the bike re tuned with the surplus from the insurance, instead I got a lift table. She likes her bike being obnoxious loud. Her bike sounds sounds like a shotgun going off when she fires it up.

I ran a set of open drags on my 02 Super Glide... for about 2 weeks, then I pulled them off and replaced with a set of V&H Short Shots. The drags were loud. Way too loud for me. And the loss of low and mid range power made my bike a slug at anything less than wide open throttle.

Thank you everyone, I believe I shall be passing on these pipes and finding an alternative

Drag pipes will rob power. You're better off with a well tuned exhaust. I have stock head pipes with Wyatt Gatling slip ons and they are loud but not obnoxious. At least I haven't heard my neighbors complain! Not that I care!

You really want to lose torque for that? Harleys are plenty loud without pipes that suck the performance out of them.

I used to run drag pipes on my old FXR, 40" long. I loved them. They sounded good. I ran with a number of others who also ran drag pipes. I had a bud who had an old pan with little shorties, that thing sounded bad ***. None of it ever really seemed that loud to me in my 20's.

On my current bike, I'm running a set of Bassani Radial Sweepers. They look like they'd be as loud as those LAF pipes, but they aren't. They're a really nice balance of volume, tone and performance. Loud enough to let others in traffic know I am there... But not so loud my neighbors give me a dirty look at 7 in the AM.

Had some very similar to those on an EVO years ago and they were loud AF and tended to shoot flames on to my right leg on decel and all my buddies would leave me from a dig but hey I was cool

V&H big shot staggered with Kromewrks drag pipe baffles sound great and perform as well. Loud ,but not deafening or obnoxious. Magnaflow Gen 2-2 X pipes probably are equal in performance, although I've never heard them. Similar designs, different look.

Sounds like you might like the V&H Short Shots or the Rinehart Crossbacks. All depends on what you're looking for appearance and style wise. But open drag pipes are awful. Just don't.

Nothing beats the sound of a 2-2 staggered pipe with some small baffles. If your running a carburated EVO or early TC they sound even better. Loud? yes, but not obnoxious in my view. I doubt I'd run the LAF's just because the look isn't what I go for.
